 Classes start Monday, September 13th. The Children's Fall Schedule and Children's Fall Registration is available online now! Closed Summer Break - Monday 8/23 through Labor Day Monday 9/6. During this time we will be answering voice messages, emails and accepting Children's registrations through the mail. Classes are closing out - reserve your choice now. Pre Register for Children's classes: Wednesday, August 25th - 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 8th - 12 to 7 p.m. Saturday, September 11th - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children's Classes start Monday September 13th! Thank you, Jennifer Kliegel  The Dance Studio of Park Slope's Children's Program offers an extensive, year round, schedule including: our special tots and pre school programs in dance and creative movement, kindergarten to first grade combination dance class, tumbling for ages 3 to 6 and a complete curriculum for ages 6 through teens in dance and musical theatre. Classes Offered: Tots and pre school dance and movement classes include: Tots on the Go (age 2), Rhythm and Motion (age 3) Creative Dance (age 4) Tots Tumbling for ages 3 and KinderTumblers for ages 4 &5. The Dance Studio is the original center for tumbling in Park Slope. For kindergarten to first grade students (ages 5 to 6), is the very popular, special combination dance class - Ballet/Jazz/Tap. A complete curriculum is available for ages 6 through teens, with outstanding progressive programs: Ballet Tap Jazz/Hip Hop Fusion Contemporary Dance Musical Theatre Many of these are offered as combination classes during the Summer Program to give students a, "Taste of dance and tumbling".  The Dance Studio stands alone in this community with our end of school year Recital Performance, in June, held in a professional setting at Brooklyn College, Whitman Theatre. (See calendar information that follows, below.) First Semester begins Monday, September 13th and continues to the end of January 2011. Second Semester begins in February. Our Summer Program is held in July and August. FIRST SEMESTER Begins Monday, September 13th All tuition/fees must be paid in full to participate in class. The Remaining Calendar for Second Semester – T.B.A. TUITION, FEES AND SCHOOL YEAR DETAILS Placement in classes is determined by age as of 10/31/10. The Dance Studio offers a continuous school year of classes that is divided into two semesters (payment periods). Students enrolled in First Semester classes may hold their placement for Second Semester. New students enrolling in Second Semester should call for class availability. Classes which perform in the recital close in February. Tots On The Go and Tumbling remain open all year (if space is available). Unlimited make up classes are permitted for absentees, but must be used in similar age and level class during the same semester. Studio notification is required for make ups. Full tuition is due on, or before the first class day of each semester. CHILDREN’S SCHOOL YEAR 2010-11 Registration Fee $40.00 (per child) School Year Sept. through June. Payable at Registration Multiple Class Discounts In honor of our 35th Anniversary we offer valuable savings! These discounts apply to students taking multiple classes and/or families with more than one child enrolled. Tuition and Multiple Class Discounts (for a total of 18 weeks) Taking one class per week (total 1st sem.) $378 Add a second class per week (total 1st sem.) $702 Add a third class per week (total 1st sem.) $999 Add a fourth class per week (total 1st sem.) $1260 Advanced Ballet Mon. & Wed. classes with Saturday 8 week Series (total 1st sem.) $870 FEES AND PAYMENTS Registration fee plus ˝ tuition is required to reserve class. All tuition is payable in full on, or before, the first class day of each semester. Costumes (per costume) $70 and up separate from tuition. Full payment of tuition/fees is required for students to take class and receive costume.
